Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate, for the people of Indonesia, air conditioning is a necessity. by 45%-70% (Harahap et al., 2019). So it can be predicted that the cost of using electricity is very high, in accordance with the increase in cooling load (Khakim et al., 2020). Thus, it is necessary to have an electric power efficiency for a Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler based air conditioner by reviewing previous research on the Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler based cooling circuit and testing the system from the Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler series which adapts the previous system, so that the air conditioner is based on The Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler can reduce the temperature of a3x 3 x 4 meter room by 3.2°C for 6 hours, with an average power consumption of 50.51 Watt, the costs incurred are in accordance with the electricity tariff set at IDR 1,352 per kWh From the measurement results, it was found that the Peltier Thermo Jectric Cooler- based room cooler was 0.283 kWh at a cost of Rp. 382. It can be concluded that the electrie power consumption of the Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler-based room cooler is more efficient and economical.
