Abstract

Comfort and convenience in working in multi-storey buildings are quite important factors to support occupational safety and health, therefore vertical transportation is needed. Goods Elevator is a lifting equipment, part of the Lift and Transport Equipment, which is used for the production process for the industrial world. The purpose of this study was to determine the design of a Miniature Elevator system using Omron PLC as the Development of Learning Media. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE method according to Robert Branch which includes: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implement, (5) evaluate. Based on the research results obtained that (1) The design of a miniature elevator system based on Omron PLC as a learning medium uses the ADDIE method approach according to Robert tiranch; (2) The feasibility of the elevator simulator learning media in terms of material experts got a score of 80.83% of the maximum percentage of 100% and is categorized as "decent". Judging from media experts, it gets a score of 78.57% of the maximum percentage of 100% and is categorized as "decent". In the pilot test, you get a score of 78.33% of the maximum percentage of 100% and is categorized as "proper".
