ABSTRACT
The procedure for borrowing rooms at Jakarta Global University which is still
done manually at the faculty level in tertiary institutions causes the borrowing process to
be inefficient, namely by the borrower or student coming to BAAK by filling out the loan
list and recording the loan schedule manually, thereby reducing time efficiency and
uncomfortable. This study aims to develop a web-based application model that can be used
in the process of borrowing rooms at the tertiary level without the need to fill in the loan
list manually, so that the loan process becomes more efficient and effective. The room
lending information system uses the Laravel framework with the Agile method. The case
study was conducted at Jakarta Global University and the programming language used
PHP and MySQL database.
This research will produce a Room Lending Information System by displaying a room
usage schedule, the loan application process, loan reports to help provide information
quickly and efficiently without the need to make things difficult and to help facilitate all
processes in borrowing rooms online and can be computerized properly. And statistical
data on room loans and room loan reports for campus management.
