ABSTRACT

At this time, information and communication technology is evolving very fast compared to the need. In the absence of an insufficient LAN network to be used as a means of teaching activities, it is difficult for students to access information sources from the Internet. This study aims to document the results of simulation and implementation of the LAN network built to support student activities in SDS Kartika VIII-1 Jakarta, this study uses waterfall method that has 5 (five) stages namely: analysis, design, implementation, and verification. The result of this research is the awakening of sufficient LAN network to support teaching activities in SDS Kartika VIII-1 Jakarta, us well as helping K.LAB for the maintenance process of devices in the computer laboratory.
