Job stress is an important aspect for an organization, especially in relation to the
performance ofnurses in carrying out their duties and functions. The organization
must have performance, good / high performance can help the organization
improve its performance. Conversely, if performance decreases it can harm the
organization, namely a decrease in organizational performance and loss of public
trust in the short term, stress that is left alone without serious handling from the
management makes employees depressed, unmotivated and frustrated causing
employees to work not optimally so that performance will be disrupted whereas in
the long term, an employee who cannot withstand work stress is no longer able to
work in that agency. At this stage the employee's condition gets worse, stress can
make the employee sick or even resign.
Based on the results of research, the effect of work stress on employee
performance is proven to have an influence, so that the results of employee
performance are in accordance with the vision and mission of the hospital,
especially employees do not feel depressed at work, so that there are some
activities that are carried out outside of working hours such as gathring, training
and etc.
