Abstract

Seeing the importance of state apparatus employees, in this case are employees of the Surade District office of Sukabumi Regency in the context of implementing village community development and community empowerment and in carrying out public service activities that are required to the maximum according to expectations, according to the interests of the community, on target and on time. So high motivation is needed for the employees of the sub-district apparatus, because with the right motivation the employees will be encouraged to do their best in carrying out their duties because they believe that the success of an organization or government at the sub-district level achieves its goals and objectives, the personal interests of the individual community will be looked after
too.
Based on the results of research on motivation, it is known that the answers of respondents who assessed the 5 dimensions described in 10 indicators mean that the respondents stated that were good as many as 4 indicators with an average value of 40.32% and those who stated that were not good were 6 indicators with an average value 39.25% average, then the results of research on employee work performance can be seen from the answers of respondents who assess the 3 dimensions described in 6 indicators, the average respondent states that 3 indicators are good with an average value of 41.9% and those who say no good as many as 3 indicators with an average value of 47.3%.
In order to increase work motivation that affects employee work performance, the District should need to manage and plan for motivation, both in the form of financial and non-financial compensation, awards, and so on.
