Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how Total Assets Turnover (TATO) affects Return On Assets (ROA) in Property and Real Estate Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period.
Total Assets Turnover (TATO) is the ratio between sales and total assets to measure the efficiency of the company's overall use of assets in order to generate sales or describe how many rupiahs of net sales can be generated by each rupiah invested in company assets.
Total Assets Turnover (TATO) in Property and Real Estate Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period has a minimum value of 0.03 or 3%, a maximum value of 0.62 or 62% and an average value of 0, 2112 with a standard deviation of 0.11418.
Return On Assets (ROA) is a profitability ratio used to measure the effectiveness or ability of a company to generate profits by utilizing its total assets. The Return On Assets (ROA) of Property and Real Estate Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period has a minimum value of 0.37 or 37%, a maximum value of 28.35 or 2.835%, and an average value of 4 .2180 with a standard deviation of 6.36774.
The results of the analysis prove that Total Assets Turnover (TATO) has a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA). From the results of the Pearson product moment correlation analysis, which is 0.808, it is known that there is a strong relationship between Total Assets Turnover (TATO) and Return On Assets (ROA). While the results from simple linear regression analysis show the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.653, which indicates that the effect of the Total Assets Turnover (TATO) load variable on the dependent variable Return On Assets (ROA) is 0.653 or 65.3% while the rest is 0.347 or 34,7% influenced by other factors or independent variables outside of this study.
The results of the T test also prove that the Total Assets Turnover (TATO) variable has a significant effect on the Return On Assets (ROA) variable in Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period.
