Abstract
Work motivation refers to forces both within and outside the organization that generate enthusiasm and persistence to pursue certain actions. Employee motivation affects productivity, and part of a manager's job is to channel motivation toward achieving organizational goals. Performance is a result of work achieved
by a person in carrying out completing the work assigned to him. This study aims
to see how performance is seen from the influence of motivation. This study examines the effect of motivation on performance. The results showed that motivation has a close relationship with performance, furthermore motivation has a significant positive effect on performance. This indicates that if the motivation is
higher, performance will also increase.
