Abstract
This research was conducted at KUD Raharja Pasiripis, Surade District, Sukabumi Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance at KUD Raharja Pasiripis, Surade District, Sukabumi Regency.
The design in this study used a survey method with a descriptive approach and associative method. The population in this study were all employees who became members of the KUD Raharja Pasiripis, Surade District, Sukabumi Regency as many as 55 employees. The sample in this study was the total population, namely 55 respondents using the non-probability sampling method, namely the census technique or total sampling. Sources of data used are primary data by providing and distributing questionnaires to respondents who were sampled in this study. To test the instrument analysis of the quality of the research data, validity and reliability tests were used, then to test the relationship and influence analysis used correlation, linear regression analysis, and coefficient of determination analysis.
Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be seen that organizational commitment has an effect on employee performance. The results showed that the level of closeness of Organizational Commitment with Employee Performance was 0.783, meaning that the relationship between the two variables was at the level of a strong and unidirectional relationship. The results of the calculation and analysis of the coefficient of determination (2) show that Organizational Commitment has a positive effect on Employee Performance at KUD Raharja Pasiripis, Surade District, Sukabumi Regency, so that the research hypothesis proposed in this study proves that Organizational Commitment has an effect on Employee Performance. The magnitude of the contribution of the influence of Organizational Commitment to Employee Performance is 61.3%, while the remaining 38.9% is influenced by other variables not examined outside the Organizational Commitment variable.
