Islamic Vocational High School (SMK) Penguji City of Sukabumi is a secondary level education unit under the auspices of the West Java Provincial Education Office and has been under the auspices of the Islamic Penguji Foundation established since 1995. Advertising is one of the variables that influences student decisions, because with clear advertising it will can improve student decisions. This research was conducted at the Islamic Vocational High School Penguji Sukabumi City. The purpose of this study was to determine advertising, to determine decisions and to determine the effect of advertising on decisions. The phenomenon that occurs in the Islamic Vocational High School Examiners is the decrease and rise in the number of admissions of students who enter the Islamic Vocational School examiners in Sukabumi City. This problem is thought to be low in acceptance of the number of new students from the target set at SMK Islam Penguji Sukabumi. This research method uses descriptive and associative methods. In this study using primary data using observation and distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with the Slovin formula. The total population of 148 people, from the results of the calculation using the Slovin formula, the results can be rounded to 60. From the results of this study it is known that there is a significant effect of variable (X) Advertising on variable (Y) Decision. therefore schools must continue to improve advertising by increasing the frequency of advertisements in the advertising budget and ad serving and increasing relationships with the community around the school environment.
