Abstract
Leaders have a very decisive role in achieving success and failure in achieving organizational goals. A leader can be said to be successful or not if his expertise moves others to be able to achieve the goals of the organization so that to move others, a leader needs motivating skills, so that the role of leadership in motivating others or specifically can be realized in a hond of togetherness. The current phenomenon is the decline in the performance of the management at KONI Sukabumi Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style on the performance of KONI management in Sukabumi Regency. This research was carried out al KONI Sukabumi Regency and the population in this study were the administrators of the Regency KONI, amounting to 31 people. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling method. Because the population is 31 people, the determination of the sample size this study was carried out using a saturated sample where all members of the population were used as samples. The research method uses associative descriptive: To measure the data using the classical assumption test instrument. To partially prove the hypothesis of the influence of leadership style on the performance of the management using the correlation test and t test, while to prove the hypothesis of the influence of the leadership style on the performance of the management, the coefficient of determination (KD) test and siniple regression equation were simultaneously tested. The results showed that leadership style had a strong influence on the performance of KONI officials in Sukabumi Regency
