Abstract
Performance is an action or task implementation that can be measured in terms of measures and performance assessments. Employee performance for important to be noticed by every organization because employees are a major factor in the work process which in turn will make the overall performance of the agency run well or not. Great employee performance in an agency, in this case, in the Department of Industry and Energy Mineral Resources of Sukabumi Regency can be improved in which one of them is by paying attention to the education and training of its employees. The specific purpose of this research is to determine the education and employee training at the Department of Industry and ESDM of Sukabumi Regency, to determine the employee performance at Department of Industry and ESDM of Sukabumi Regency, and to determine the effect of education and job training on employee performance at the Department of Industry and ESDM of Sukabumi Regency.
The method of this research used descriptive analysis and Associative analysis methods. This research used primary and secondary data by doing observation and also distributing the questioners to respondents. The sampling technique in this research used non-probability sampling. The sample used in this research amounted to 43 respondents.

The correlation value of Education and Training (X) with Employee Performance (Y) amounted to 0.804, this correlation value is between 0.800 1.00, it means that the correlation between Education and Training with the Employee Performance has a very strong correlation. The coefficient of determination value or R square amounted to 0.645, which means that the influence of Education and Training (X) on Employee Performance (Y) amounted to 64.5%, and the remaining 35.5% is influenced by other variables which are not examined in this study. The regression equation value Y = 3,875 +1,535 X, which means that if Education and Training increases by 1 point so the Employee Performance increases by 1.535 points, if Education and Training increase by 2 points then Employee Performance increases by 2 x 1.535, that is 3.07 assuming the constant value is at 3.875.
