Abstract

In the Rawa badung area of East Jakarta, there is a lake with a total area of 10 hectares that has the potential for renewable energy to be utilized as an off- grid power plant to support the independent power plant program. The potential for renewable energy in the Situ Rawa Badung lake can be modeled as a hybrid power plant system, namely solar energy, microhydro, wind energy and biomass. This study examines how much potential electrical energy can be generated from renewable energy sources in the area around the Situ Rawa Badung lake. The results of the study of renewable energy in the Situ Rawa Badung lake area will then be modeled as a hybrid power plant microgrid system with an off-grid system. From the modeling of this PLTH system, the feasibility of technical, economic and environmental aspects will then be studied using the Hybrid Optimization of Multiple Energy Resources (HOMER) Software. The PLTH Design Results can be implemented in the Situ Rawa Badung lake using an on-grid system configuration with the following economic feasibility: NPC Rp. 13,542,020,000, then LCOE: Rp. 5,884 Rp/kWh, and PBP: 13 years and B.CR 1.66 so that the PLTH design can be said to be Feasible. The potential for solar resources is quite large with an average of 4.76 kWh/m2/day, the potential for wind resources is sufficient with an average of 4 m/s, the potential for biomass energy and the utilization of large renewable energy with a renewable fraction of 100%. Total energy production (kWh/yr) in the best configuration system is 321,436 kWh/yr with PV 241,480 kWh/yr, Genset 1,151 kWh/yr Wind 66,053 kWh/yr and Hydrokinetic 12,852 kWh/yr. Total Production in the basic configuration is 194,753 kWh/yr with 100% production with diesel genset. Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the best configuration with biogas fuel from HOMER simulation results are Carbon Dioxide 0.082 kg/yr, Sulfur Dioxide 0 kg/yr, Nitrogen Oxides 0.00808 kg. Emissions in the basic configuration with diesel fuel before use are Carbon Dioxide 920 kg/yr, Sulfur Dioxide 2.25 kg/yr, Nitrogen Oxides 5.44 kg/yr.
