This study was conducted at PT. Sadikun Niagamas Raya (Div. TMO), a manufacturing company engaged in the filling and packaging of lubricants, with the majority of its products being produced for Toyota vehicles. In the face of intense business competition, the company must focus on reducing operational costs to ensure sustainability and profitability. Therefore, this research aims to (1) determine and analyze the standard time for each production process, (2) assess the work efficiency of each process using Promodel simulation, and (3) identify appropriate improvement ideas for line 4. The method used in this research is Promodel simulation to analyze process efficiency and working time. The results show that by calculating the working time directly, a more accurate standard operation time can be obtained, which helps the company predict more effective production times. Furthermore, the analysis revealed that the reduction in the number of operators from four to three had an impact on production efficiency. However, by applying Promodel
simulation and changing the layout, production output increased from 405 units to 570 units, and the time spent on the manual buffer table, which previously took 37.39 minutes, was reduced to just 1.12 minutes with the use of a conveyor leading to the automatic
capping queue. This research provides valuable insights into potential improvements in
the production process to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
