PT MCM is a company engaged in the manufacture of heavy equipment components, there are problems in the tank production process. The standard engineering time is not the same as the actual process time. This study aims to analyze production process activities and provide suggestions for improvement through a lean manufacturing approach with detailed processes using OPC or Operation Procces Chart. Some of the improvements that have been made include replacing cranes from jib cranes to overhead cranes, adding work aids such as vertical lifters and permanent magnet lifters, changing the use of CO2 gas tubes in welding from single tubes to cradles, changing the use of wire welding from rollers to wire tubes, and improving the layout or layout that minimizes the movement of the production process to be more optimal. From these improvements obtained efficiency so as to increase the number of tank production, From cycle time engineering, the time required in the tank welding process is 554 minutes, with 22 working days per month can produce 38 units. After the improvement of delivery in August, September, October 2023 or for 3 months delivery has increased with an average of 39 units per month.
