Personal financial management is becoming increasingly important in this digital era. A person's success in achieving their financial goals is often closely related to their ability to manage and save money in a disciplined manner. However, increasingly busy lifestyles and a lack of awareness of the importance of saving can hinder the formation of positive habits in financial management. This research aims to design an automatic piggy bank that can detect Republic of Indonesia banknotes and coins using a TCS3200 sensor for banknotes and a multi coin acceptor for coins. In this research, it can also view the balance of the piggy bank automatically via the Telegram application. Based on the results of research and testing on this IoT-based automatic piggy bank, the TCS3200 sensor can read banknotes with a result of 81.67% by carrying out 120 tests, and for multi coin acceptors it can get 100% results by carrying out 20 tests. To check the balance and reset the balance on the Telegram application, if the user clicks the check balance button, the balance amount in the piggy bank will be displayed according to the balance displayed on the LCD and if the user wants to research his savings, the user can click the balance research button on the Telegram application, the balance will return to The initial balance is IDR 0. This research can provide users with better knowledge and understanding about the importance of saving and how to manage their finances. IoT can enable real time balance monitoring through the Telegram application. Users can check the amount of their savings anytime and
