Abstract
Air pollution in the form of particles and gases that are caused by both, results in unhealthy air quality. The health index standard notes that 0-50 μg/m3 is the threshold for clean and beautiful air. With the increasingly massive technology era, researchers are trying to provide a comparison of results in the area of Jakarta Global University Campus B Cibitung which is located on Jl. Kalimalang Inspection no.204-205, Cibuntu, Cibitung District, Bekasi Regency. To develop the application, researchers used a simple design model with the LoRa WAN concept. The variables studied were to determine the sensitivity of the MQ135 gas sensor and the GP2Y1010AU0F dust sensor in determining air quality in the Jakarta Global University Campus B Cibitung environment, including CO gas and particulate matter (PM10). To design and build a monitoring system using LoRa (Long Range) Communication and also To apply a system for monitoring Air Pollution Based on LoRa (Long Range) Communication Networks. Based on the calculation of the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), it can be seen that the percentage of MQ135 and The GP2Y1010AU0F sensor in the Transmitter_a and Transmitter_b obtained, respectively, CO a gas is 2.60%, Particulate_a is 1.03%, CO_b gas is 6.74%, and Particulate_b is 2.35%. If the MAPE value is less than 10%, then the ability of the tool model is very good. In the measurement of CO gas (Carbon Monoxide) and Particulate Matter (PM10).
Keywords: CO(Carbon Monoxide), Particulate Matter (PM10), LoRa (Long Range), MQ135 gas sensor and GP2Y1010AU0F Dust sensor, MAPE.
