Abstract

Research has been conducted that aims to control and monitor the power on
HOMER devices. The method in this study is to utilize the PZEM-004t current
sensor to detect current, voltage and load power. The PZEM-004t sensor acts as
an input that goes into the NODEMCU ESP8226 microcontroller that has been
equipped with a wifi module, and the data will be sent and displayed by the Blynk
application on a smartphone using the Internet of Things base. To be able to
control and monitor power used Blynk application on smartphones. From the
results obtained by NODEMCU ESP8226 to be sent to the Blynk application, it
will process the data and then dreamed up on the smartphone screen. Based on
this study obtained data on the percentage of error monitoring load on HOMER
with the comparison of data to Clampmeter as follows: 1. Lamps with a power
load of 6 Watts are with errors at Voltage 0.03 %, Current 0.6%, Power 0.6 %.
2. HP Charger with a power load of 10 Watts which is with errors at Voltage 00.8
%, Current 0.3%, Power 0.3 %. 3. Lamp+ HP Charger is with error at Voltage
0.1%, Current 0.4 %, Power 1.6 %. With the data obtained, the average error
obtained is at Voltage = 0.06 %, Current = 0.3 %, and Power 0.6 %. And as a
tool to control the load on the device HOMER added buttons in the Blynk
application. With this study, the load power on HOMER devices can be monitored
and controlled via smartphones using the Internet of Things base.
