Abstract

Solar panels are a system that can be used to convert sunlight energy into electrical energy using a principle called the photovoltaic effect. The electrical energy produced will be stored in a battery, then used to operate electronic devices according to their electrical
needs. In simple terms, the way solar panels work is to absorb sunlight and store the energy produced in a battery. Thus, the system can run even in the afternoon, at night, or when it rains. However, the electrical energy obtained from sunlight is not perfect because of changes in sunlight, so the energy produced is not optimal. To maximize the electrical energy obtained from sunlight by using MPPT (maximum power point tracker) the Pertrub
and Observe control method.
