Roads are a means of connecting regions with other regions so as to create social, economic and cultural interactions which are a very important part of infrastructure in supporting economic, political, socio-cultural, defense and security development. Therefore, this research aims to identify the level of damage and find out what damage is found in the surface layer of the flexible pavement of Harapan Jaya Irrigation Road, Bekasi City, then to determine the value or level of damage that occurs on Harapan Jaya Irrigation Road, Bekasi City STA 0+000 STA 2+000. The Surface Distress Index (SDI) method is used to determine the damage value from 0 to 150 and how to handle it according to the SDI value obtained and the International Roughness Index (IRI) is used to determine the android-based road flatness value. The expected results of this research will be to determine the type of road maintenance used. The results of the calculation of the damage to the average IRI value of Harapan Jaya Irrigation Road have an average IRI value of 18.5 which is included in the calculation range of the average IRI value> 12, so the Harapan Jaya Irrigation road has a severely damaged condition value. The results of SDI damage on Harapan Jaya Irrigation Road have an average SDI value of 156 which is included in the SDI value calculation assessment> 150, so Harapan Jaya Irrigation Road has an average value of severely damaged conditions. Therefore, for severely damaged roads, improvements can be made by upgrading or reconstructing structural roads and or
achieving the usual level of service in the form of overlays.
