Abstract
Panic conditions and ignorance on the part of the patient coupled with the staff's lack of attention to this aspect of communication can cause problems for the hospital as a service provider. Lack of communication can make patients have a poor perception of their experiences in the hospital. This should be a concern for both hospitals and health workers. Doctors and nurses as hospital employees are, of course, demanded to provide excellent service that is satisfaction oriented. One of the things that can be done is by communicating well with patients and administrators while providing services. One of the obstacles faced today is the long waiting time for patients to get health services at the hospital. Moreover, the fact is that this big problem is found in almost all hospitals in the world. Apart from the long waiting time at the hospital, sometimes patients have to go home because the doctor's slot is full. If allowed to drag on, this problem will not only have an impact on patient satisfaction.
It is known that the correlation value of the level of closeness of Service Quality (X) to Patient Satisfaction (Y) is 0.455, this correlation value is between 0.40 - 0.599, has a moderate level of closeness criteria, then the value of the coefficient of determination shows a value of 20.70%. This means that the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction is 20.70% and the remaining 79.30% is influenced by other factors outside the research variables such as marketing/marketing, brand or brand, decisions and hypothesis test results for the effect of Service Quality on Patient Satisfaction. count of 5.404 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05 then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted and the t-count= 5.404> t-table = 1.663, so that the Service Quality variable has a significant and positive influence on Patient Satisfaction
