Tuberculosis is one of the top ten causes of death in the world. In 2015, as many as 10.4 million people had this disease and 1.8 million of them died. Treatment of tuberculosis patients is given several types of anti-tuberculosis drugs accompanied by other drugs in combination or simultaneously can cause drug interactions. This study aims to identify treatment profiles, identify the number of potential drug interactions based on Severity,Risk Rating, and Reliability Rating, analyze the relationship between age and polypharmacy with drug interactions in adult TB patients at the outpatient installation at Budi Kemuliaan Hospital, Jakarta. This research method is an observational research that is descriptive in nature with a Cross Sectional design. Research data were collected using the Retrospective method during the period July - December 2022. The sample in this
study was 172 prescriptions in adult TB patients who met the inclusion criteria, 114 prescriptions did not experience drug interactions and 58 prescriptions experienced drug
interactions with 99 interaction events. examination of drug interactions in this study using Lexicomp Drug Interaction. From the results of the study, the dominant adult TB
patients were aged 40-60 years (38.95%). The majority of patients received the number of drugs ≥5 (76.74%) and 2-4 (23.26%), with the highest sex being male (53.49%) and
female (46.51%). This study shows that there is no relationship between age, number of drugs and interactions based on Risk Rating, Severity Rating, Reliability Rating. Based on the analysis with the help of SPSS using the Chi-Square statistical test, the P value (≥0.05) was obtained.
