Abstract
Monitoring Adversee Drug Reaction (ADR) is crucial in every health care because it supports government programs aimed at patientt safety. MESO reporting at Dharmais Cancer Hospital must be evaluated with the aim of improving the quality of
reporting and incident management at Dharmais Cancer Hospital. Despite of all cases that have been reported, Dharmais Cancer Hospital has not yet classified the ADRs reports according to the type and causality based on WHO standard. This study is aimed to identify type of ADRs what which often arise from the patientts undergoing
chemotherapy at Dharmais Cancer Hospital and preventive measures to minimize the incident of ADRs. This research was done using Retrospective Descriptive analysis. All forms of
Monitoring Efek Samping Obat (MESO) and Naranjo Algorithm causality for every ADR reported in the year 2020 were analysed and evaluated. In total there were 344 times chemotherapy induced ADRs. Most of the ADRs reported are caused by Cysplatine (15.6%), 5-flourouracyl (15.4%), carboplatyne (9.30%). Meanwhile the highest number of ADRs incident are nausea and vomiting (55.67%), hypersensitivity
(11.35%), diarrhea (9.41%), peripheral neuropathy (5.54%), fever (4.15%). Majority of ADRs occurred within 1-24 hours (64.04%) after drug administration. Naranjo Algorithm assessment shown that (81.13%) ADRs are categorized as "Probable". All patientts who experienced ADRs have received the treatment based on the type of ADRs arises according to guideline therapeutic standard by the medical oncologies
functional at Dharmais Cancer Hospital.
