Title : Overview of Drug Management in the Planning Stage at the Pharmacy Installation of RS X Tangerang in 2021
The hospital is one of the facilities whose duty is to improve health efforts. Efficient drug management determines success in health services and influences the role of the
hospital as a whole. It was found that there were empty drugs in the pharmacy service and frequent requests to order drugs by cito/immediately go to the purchasing/purchasing department. The purpose of this study was to find out more
about the planning that was made at the X Hospital in Tangerang. The data collection method is by in-depth interviews with informants assisted by interview guidelines which are used as a benchmark in the plot and recorded using a tape recorder. Related data are human resources, procedures, and drug planning methods. Documents in this study are data obtained from reports at Hospital X Tangerang and data related to drug planning. The result of the research is that there is no pharmacist who is responsible for making plans at X Tangerang Hospital. At Hospital X, planning for drug needs is carried out by the person in charge of the warehouse, namely a pharmacy technician
with a bachelor of pharmacy degree. In addition to planning the warehouse section, it also serves the receipt, storage and distribution of drugs. Conclusion: The method used
in preparing the drug requirement plan does not reflect the actual application of the method, so the drug planning is not carried out optimally. One pharmacist is needed to
have special responsibility in making drug plans at X Hospital Tangerang. Inappropriate planning for drug needs, as seen from the results of interviews, there is
still a shortage of drug stocks and drugs that have expired.
