Hydroponics is an effective way to carry out farming activities without requiring large areas of land. It just needs extra supervision to be able to produce good quality plants. There are several parameters in lydroponics, namely the amount of dissolved nutrients, pH level in the water, water temperature, which makes it easy to monitor, so in this research an iot-based NFT hydroponic monitoring and control system was designed. To design a monitoring and control system for hydroponic plants based on the internet of things (int) for spinach plants, to increase the accuracy of the monitoring and control system for hydroponic plants based on the internet of things, to carry out meaturements using Quality of Service (Qus) on the delivery network data. The method used in this research is the waterfall method. The waterfall model provides a sequential or ordered software life flow approach starting from analysis, design, coding, testing, and support stages. This research produces a monitoring and control ratem for hydroponic plants based on the internet of things (lot). It has succeeded in producing a design for an iot-based control and monitoring system for hydroponic plants. Quality of service (QoS) testing was carried out in sending and receiving data and the results showed good connectivity, namely 79% in packet loss, ate the delay was also good namely 83,455 Further research and observations.
