Abstract
An energy harvester is a device that collects and converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. One of the energy harvesting devices that is being widely researched is the piezoelectric hybrid system, which combines two energy harvesters into one to produce electrical energy. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential of electrical energy that can be generated by piezoelectric and mini windmills with a hybrid system. Utilizing the collision between the blades of the windmill and the fins on the piezoelectric to generate electric voltage, using variations in the ratio of the ratio of the fins to the blades, namely 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3, as well as with variations in wind speeds of 6 m/s, 7 m/s, and 8m/s. The test results obtained the highest electric voltage of 12.67 Volts AC and 11.44 Volts DC at a ratio of 1:1 with a wind speed of 8 m/s. For the highest electric voltage that can be generated by a windmill is to use a ratio of 1: 3, which is 2.53 Volta DC. This is related to the momentum of the collision that occurs where mass and speed have a major effect on the rotation of the windmill and the resulting deflection of the
piezoelectric.
