ABSTRACT
Bella Tirta refill drinking water is a business that refills gallons of drinking
water located in the Tridaya Sakti Village area, South Tambun District, Bekasi
Regency. This type of refilling gallon business began to spread in the area. In the
process of buying refilled drinking water, many residents came directly to the refill
location and asked for it to be delivered, but there were problems because there
were only one or two refill officers, so the delivery process often took quite a long
time, even some gallons were not delivered. . There are several gallon refill
competitors who use the ball pick-up method, namely going around to houses to
look for residents who have empty gallons to fill, but this is also a lot of problems
in addition to making the job of looking for empty gallons less effective, it is also a
waste of time because usually only get empty gallons from a few residents. In
addition, every payment for refilled water by customers is still recorded in a
notebook to be recapitulated and reported to the owner of the Bella Tirta refill
drinking water business. This study uses the waterfall method to design an
information system for ordering gallon water at the Bella Tirta refill depot using
PHP and database MySQL. With the development of this system, the process of
ordering gallon drinking water can be made easier by customers by accessing their
respective account login pages. Generate coupons also becomes automatic so there
is no need to print coupons in paper form. The transaction process for selling
drinking water is made easier by using the water order status. In addition, the
process of exchanging coupons is made easier through the system and the process
of presenting reports can be easily done because reports can be printed based on a
certain time period..
Resulting in customers getting time efficiency when ordering gallons of
water without the need to wait anymore at the depot, because now the Bella Tirta
drinking water depot can use a web-based application for service and ordering
gallons of water.
