This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and liquidity on the share price of transportation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock
exchange (IDX) for the period 2020-2023. Profitability is measured using Return on assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), while liquidity is measured using Current Ratio (CR) and Quick Ratio (QR). Stock price as the dcpende11t variables analyzed based 011 historical data from the company's financial statements and stock movements. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis using secondary data from annual financial reports and IDX stock market information. The results showed that profitability has a significant positire effect on stock prices. which means that the higher the compa11y's profitability, the higher irs stock price. Meanwhile, the effect of liquidity rnries depending on the indicator used. This study provides insights for investors in considering profitability a11d liquidity before intresting in the transportation sector. For companies, the findings emphasize the importance of maintaining healthy. financial performance to increas the atractiviness of shares in the capital market.
