Abstract
The speed of providing services from the IT support department in assisting with
computer and network-related issues in a company is crucial to support work efficiency.
PT TipTop is a retail company. Handling network access requests and computer device
repairs is still done manually and requires a lengthy approval process from management.
This can lead to issues such as missed data reports, difficulty in data retrieval, and data
loss risks. Therefore, the need for a computerized helpdesk information system for the IT
Support department, accessible anywhere with an internet connection, is essential to
address these problems. Here, the author provides a solution to realize this. The objective
of this writing is to design and build a web-based application using the Codelgniter
framework, following the Agile methodology, and utilizing a MySQL database. The
programming language used is PHP, andthe design includes use case diagrams, sequence
diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The application has been functionally
tested using Black Box testing, and the results have been declared successful. Additionally,
non-probability System Sampling has been used for testing
