Abstract
To support the smooth implementation of work, it is necessary to have work discipline. Discipline in relation to work is the observance of implementing the rules that require or are expected by an organization so that every workforce can carry out the rules that require or are expected by an organization so that every workforce can carry out the rules that require or are expected by the organization. an organization so that every worker can carry out their work in an orderly and smooth manner. The main key in developing an organization effectively and efficiently lies in the performance assessment carried out. This is related to the existence of better policies as a result of the performance appraisal of the human resources in the organization. The benefits of individual performance appraisals are able to show the actual conditions of employee performance which will have an impact on the dynamics of the growth of the organization as a whole. Based on the results of research on variable X, namely discipline, it is known that the answers of respondents who assess the 5 dimensions described in 10 indicators on average, respondents said 9 indicators were good with an average value of 49.6% and 1 indicator said not good with a value an average of 40.5%, then the results of research on variable Y, namely employee performance, it is known that the answers of respondents who assess the 6 dimensions described in the 12 indicators, the average respondent states that 10 indicators are good with an average value of 49.9% and which stated that it was not good as many as 2 indicators with a value of 35.7%. The results of the research conducted indicate that work discipline has an influence on employee performance. This means that the head of the hospital must pay more attention to the discipline of time and work available at the agency based on attendance, work procedures, obedience to superiors, work awareness and employee responsibilities.
