Abstract
One of the factors that affect the job satisfaction of an employee is the compensation policy that applies in the workplace. Compensation can be used as the key to managing human resources effectively to suit business needs and employee needs. Basically, job satisfaction is an individual thing. Each individual will have a different level of satisfaction according to the value system that applies to him. This is due to differences in each individual. The more aspects of the job that are in accordance with the desires of the individual, the higher the level of satisfaction he feels and vice versa. One of the true satisfactions that can be obtained in a work environment is a sense of pride, satisfaction and success in doing its job duties completely.
Compensation has an effect on job satisfaction, therefore companies are expected to pay more attention to the compensation system for employees. If the compensation system can be carried out properly in the company, then job satisfaction will increase so that in the end the company's goals can be achieved.
