Abstract

With the rapid development of a business, it is certain that it requires qualified and professional human resources, who are capable and competent in their field of work. Thus, a human resource management program is needed in order to meet the demands of the organization's needs, in every course of the organization there are always people who are active to achieve the goals that have been set. These people are employees who are in it who have an important role in the progress of the hospital. From the employee's point of view, compensation payment is a necessity of life which is one of the main reasons people look for work, for employers, compensation is one of the most important functions of human resource management namely as the main method used to attract employees and motivate them to perform. more effective.
Based on the results of research on variable X, namely compensation, it is known that the answers of respondents who assess the 2 dimensions described in 6 indicators on average respondents stated that 5 indicators were good with an average value of 50% and those who stated that they were not good were 1 indicator with an average value. an average of 46.4% then the results of research on variable Y, namely employee performance, it is known that the answers of respondents who assess the 4 dimensions described in 10 indicators, on average, respondents say 9 indicators are good with an average value of 54.6% and those who say no good as much as 1 indicator with a value of 32.1%
There is a need for periodic performance appraisals to find out how the employee's performance is and can find out whether the compensation and motivation that has been given can affect or not on performance.
