MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Jakarta or what can also be referred to as Moda Raya Transportasi is a rapid rail transportation system in Jakarta, which began construction in 2013. This mode of transportation operates every day for 19 hours/day. In order to provide better service and keep up with the times, MRT Jakarta uses a platform screen door (PSD), which is a type of platform door that becomes a dividing partition between the passenger platform area and the train track. The aim of installing platform type doors is to prevent passengers from falling onto the train tracks. Based on data taken from MRT Jakarta, starting from 2022-2023, platform screen door (PSD) machines experienced a total of 199 downtimes at all MRT Jakarta stations which had an impact on arrival and departure delays at a number of stations. To overcome this problem, an analysis of the implementation of the maintenance system was carried out using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method through the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach. The use of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method directs research to 2 data analysis methods, namely qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative methods consist of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), and LTA (Logic Tree Analysis). Meanwhile, the quantitative method consists of calculating MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), determining reliability and failure rate. The research results show that through qualitative analysis, it is known that there are 5 components of MSI (Maintenance Significant Item), namely external, electrical, hardware, software, and unidentified. From the results of the quantitative analysis, it was found that the components with the lowest reliability rate based on Inherent Availability were hardware components at 55%. The recommended actions and maintenance plans are based on the RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) method, namely carrying out preventive maintenance.
