Abstract
The world of construction requires innovation and alternatives to create new, better materials. Especially in normal concrete, alternatives can be added by utilizing waste and other materials whose contents can increase the strength of the concrete. This research uses rice husk ash as a constituent material. Rice husk ash is waste from burning rice husks which has a fairly high silica content. This research uses experimental methods in the Cijago section 3 PT laboratory project. Precision so you can observe the process and know the methods used to get maximum results.
The addition of rice husk ash has several variations of 10% 7.5% 8.3%, and 9.5% of the weight of cement to the test object being made. The concrete compressive strength test was taken from making 15cm x 30cm cylindrical test specimens at the en ages of 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. Based on the results of the analysis, the maximum compressive strength obtained for the ASP variation was 8.5%, where the results obtained from testing the compressive strength of concrete at each age of 28 days in the study were for normal concrete reaching a value of 32.86 Mpa, for the ASP variation 7.5% was 33.31 Mpa, the 8.5% ASP variation was 34.69 Mpa, while the 9.5% ASP variation reached a value of 30.30 Mpa. So it can be concluded that the more rice husk ash (ASP) is used, the more water used in cement will result in the compressive strength value decreasing
