Abstract

The process of making cassava crackers (opak) consists of several stages, one of which is the drying process where drying is carried out in an open place with the help of sunlight, the weakness of which is during the rainy season. The problem during the cassava drying process (opak) is when it suddenly rains so that the dried crackers are difficult to transport all because the producers are overwhelmed to transport them. To overcome this problem, an automatic cassava cracker (opak) drying system is needed, so that it can help producers in carrying out the drying process when sudden rain occurs, this system is designed using Arduino Uno, ESP32 Cam, and rain sensors. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out to identify images of white cassava crackers (opak) labeled "wet" and identify images of yellow cassava crackers (opak) labeled "dry, With this system, the cassava cracker (opak) drying process can be more efficient in terms of time and energy, if it rains suddenly and can eliminate producer concerns during the cassava cracker (opak) drying process.
