Abstract
In this research, the author aims to design an automatic monitoring and control tool for web-based hydroponics. Currently large cities in Indonesia usually have less landused for agriculture and plantations, much of the agricultural land has been converted into industrial land and residential areas. due to limited land, economic, social and populationgrowth factors. Hydroponics can overcome this problem, hydroponics is a way of farming that uses water as the main medium to replace soil and can be placed in empty areas at home. a few of them failed to apply this method, because they were constrained in controlling and monitoring the hydroponic plants. In this research, to overcome this problem by combining the hydroponic deep flow technique method with the internet of things. This research uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller as the center for data collection ph, tds, dht22, and ultrasonic sensors as well as nodeMCU as the sender to the database to be displayed on the website. From the tests that have been completed, the internet of things based hydroponic plant monitoring and control system runs well and can make it easier to monitor and control hydroponic plants from a distance remotely via the internet using websites.
