Abstract
Solar panels are one of the renewable energy sources that can generate energy from sunlight. The energy generated by solar panels is stored in batteries. Ornamental plants have many uses, one of the benefits is that they can be used to decorate the yard. For daily plant care, you have to water them manually every morning and evening. This study aims to automatically water ornamental plants
with a system. Using a 100WP Solar Panel, 12 Volt Battery, Arduino Nano, Soil Moisture Sensor, Relay, and 12 Volt DC Water Pump. The DC water pump will work automatically to water when the Soil Moisture Sensor detects a soil moisture level of less than 30%. The relay works to turn the DC water pump off or on, when the Soil Moisture Sensor detects soil moisture of more than 30%, the DC
water pump will turn off. With this system, it helps users to water automatically
based on soil moisture.
