Abstract

In this research a monitoring and control system for CO and CO2 gas levels was implemented in the house using a wireless sensor network and an android application based on the internet of things. Making this tool is very important as a solution to avoid the risk of dangerous gas poisoning. The benefit of this research is to keep the air condition within normal limits or healthy category air limits in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1077/MENKES/PER/V/2011 elect the file and ti ocument (such asefore depositing. In this research uses one master node and five sensor nodes, each node detects levels of CO (Carbon monoxide) and CO2 (Carbondioxide) gases, and uses nodecu Exp32 as a controller. The results of reading the average CO and CO2 gas levels are displayed in real time on the 12C 20x4 LCD screen and data is sent to the Thingspeak database via the internet netwerk and forwarded to the Android application. Controlling the amount of gas aims to reduce the concentration of harmful gas levels in the room by installing artificial air circulation using a fan that works automatically if the gas level is CO> 9.00 Ppm and CO2> 1000 Ppm, herider that fan operation can also be done manually, namely by how to press the ON/OFF virtual button on the android application dashboard.
