Chronic kidney disease is a progressive decline in kidney function characterized by a decrease in the Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) less than 60ml/min/1.73m² at least 3 months. Hypertension has a close relationship with kidney health, like the chicken egg cycle. Hypertension is a major triggering factor for chronic kidney failure and can increase the risk of cardiovascular complications. Administration of antihypertensive drugs aims to control blood pressure and slow down kidney damage, so it is necessary to evaluate the use of antihypertensive drugs to ensure safe, appropriate and rational use of drugs. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of antihypertensive drugs in patients with chronic renal failure based on the right patient, the right dose, the right indication and the right drug. This research was conducted using a descriptive method with retrospective data collection from medical records in January -December 2022 at the X Hospital. The most widely used antihypertensive drugs are the Calcium Channel blocker (CCB) namely amlodipine as much as 26,41% and the number of drugs that are most widely used are two drug combinations (13.2%). The two most widely used drug combinations are Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) and Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB). Evaluation of the use of antihypertensive drugs showed that it was 91% right for the patient, 100% right on the dose, 91% right on the indication and 91% right on the drug.
