Abstract
This research aims to design the UI/UX of a badminton court rental application with various features tailored to user needs. The research utilizes the Design Thinking approach as a method to address problems creatively, practically, and
effectively in order to achieve the set goals. This method comprises five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. In the Empathize stage, the researcher identifies user problems by conducting observations at GOR Trijaya
Sport and interviewing several badminton court renters. In the Define stage, after understanding the users' issues, the researcher summarizes user opinions and needs by creating a Verbatim Script, User Persona, and User Journey Map. The
Ideate stage involves generating ideas or solutions using the How Might We method, User Flow, and Sitemap. In the Prototype stage, the ideas are visualized through paper prototyping, followed by a High-Fidelity prototype using Figma. In the Testing stage, the prototype is tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The research resulted in a badminton court rental application design with features
that align with user needs. The success of the user experience, evaluated using the System Usability Scale, achieved a score of 77.83 in the Acceptability Ranges
category, which is "acceptable," in the grade scale category of "C," and in the adjective ratings category of "GOOD".
