Abstract

ABSTRACT
E-commerce is part of electronic commerce in the digital era, connecting
businesses or individuals as consumers through technology and applications for
transactions, discussions and information via the Internet, TV or computer networks.
Building a complex online store requires focusing on consumer convenience in using the
platform, a good online shopping platform creates safe and comfortable virtual
transactions for sellers and buyers. Shopee and Tokopedia are Indonesia's leading e�commerce platforms, making it easier for consumers to onlineshop and converting
traditional commerce to e-commerce, creating a vibrant online shopping ecosystem in
Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness, influence of the use
of e-commerce on increasing sales and consumer satisfaction on the Loxus Living
Company E-commerce marketplace platform Shopee and Tokopedia. The research method
used in this study is qualitative to find out the data generated from interviews, observation
and documentation of marketing strategies and also used quantitative methods to collect
and analyze data based on numbers on customer satisfaction. This study uses sales data
from February to July 2023, conventional sales data is taken for 3 months, from February
to April 2023, while sales data through both e-commerce Shopee and Tokopedia are taken
from May to July 2023. The results of conventional sales data in February amounted to
Rp.26,417,000, March amounted to Rp.27,009,000, and April amounted to Rp.25,273,000.
then sales through e-commerce shopee managed to get a total of Rp.1,743.38 billion in
May, Rp.1,462.00 billion in June, and Rp.1,377.44 billion in July. while sales through
Tokopedia e-commerce in May earned Rp.28,708,000, June Rp.29,164,000, and July
Rp.36,893,000. The conclusion of this study is that the rise and fall of the total visitor graph
and the sales graph are not too different, which means that every customer who sees a
Loxus Living product will make a product purchase transaction, and the research results
show that using both e-commerce is able to increase product sales better than conventional
sales.
