Abstract
Leadership has a strategic role in the management framework, because the role of a leader is hatically a series of leadership functions. While the leadership function itself is one of the manager's roles in the framework of influencing subordinates or followers to willingly provide dedication in achieving organizational goals, in accordance with the abilities of subordinater in the maximum, ruccessful leadership requires hehavior that unites and stimulates followers to achieve goalt, goals set in certain situations. The success of an organization to achieve the desired goals is very much determined by the leader of the organization. A good and successful leader is a leader who alwτης prioritizes the interests and desires and needs of his followers (nubordinates), loyal followers are followers who always listen and follow what his superiors order at long as the orders are related to the interests of the people. The strength of every organization lies in its people, ze that the achievements of an organization cannot be separated from the achievements of each indivutual seen in it. Employee performance is basically the result of an employee's work over a certain period compared to variona possibilities, such as standards, targets, goalt, or criteria that have been determined in advance and have been mutually agreed upon. High and low employee performance is a measure of the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization in achieving the goals that have been set
