Abstract

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has installed many seismograph equipment in Indonesian territory to monitor earthquake events. This activity is a condition of observing InaTEWS sensor equipment throughout
Indonesia, using SQLX software tools. Observation of the condition of the
equipment is carried out every three months for a year to obtain accurate data, the equipment must be placed in an ideal location. The selection of the ideal location
can be seen from the spectrum of the seismograph recording and is within the limits
of the Peterson Model. In this study, an evaluation of the location of the
seismograph sensors has been installed in 162 locations in Indonesia, consisting of
118 LIBRA System Stations (Ina), 12 JISNET System Stations (Japan), 20 GFZ System Stations (Germany), 7 CEA System Stations (China), and 5 CTBTO
Stations (Ina). From the recorded data for 2021 using power spectral density (PSD)
and probability density function (PDF) analysis. From these observations produced 81 units of equipment in good condition, 56 units of equipment in moderate condition, 17 units of damaged equipment, 1 unit of equipment in a metadata error
condition, and 27 units of dead equipment. 57% seismographs were placed in ideal
locations and 43% were not.
