Abstract
Efficiency has become a demand in all fields as one of the parameters of success in the industrial world. One of the services in the healthcare industry that has not escaped the call for efficiency is surgical services in the operating room. The level of efficiency in the operating room can currently be seen in the Modular Operating Theater (MOT). MOT is an operating room concept designed with a modular approach, allowing high flexibility in arrangement and configuration. The control system of the MOT uses a program to manage commands called the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The design of the MOT (Modular Operating Theatre) operation using PLC in this study focuses on air sensors to ensure that the operating room environment is always in optimal condition. The air sensors provide critical data, and the PLC acts as the main controller to ensure that all environmental parameters remain within safe and medically appropriate limits. Testing of temperature sensors, humidity sensors, and air pressure sensors shows that the readings are within the acceptable range. The effective integration of air sensors, PLC, and the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system results in an efficient, safe, and reliable operating room. With the value of the difference in readings in the BME280 sensor tool with standard measuring instruments = temperature sensor testing 0,079° C; 0,067° C; 0.082° C or percentage error = 0,9%; 0,77%; 0,8%. and for humidity sensor testing 0,254; 0,245; 0,356 or percentage error value = 1,6% RH; 1,54%RH; 2% RH. For the reader difference between the Dwyer Magnesense MSX sensor and the standard measuring instrument is 0,109Pa; 0,365Pa; 0,153Pa or the percentage error value = 0,28%; 0,21%; 0,613%, from the results obtained that all sensors are still within tolerance limits.
