Conventional transportation causes emissions of dangerous gases for the climate. Electric vehicles have become an alternative to minimize this damage. Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) are essential facilities for electric vehicles. An Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring system at these charging stations is necessary for efficiency. One of the research problem formulations in
this study is how to design an Android-based monitoring system for EVCS. The objective is to develop an Android-based monitoring system for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. This research employs a quantitative research method with an experimental approach. Data sources are obtained from the testing of the developed device. Data collection techniques used in this research are observations.The test results show the percentage of error data from temperature and humidity sensors at 0,87% and 1,74%, respectively, and light intensity at 0,22%. Furthermore, the solar panel current sensor shows 2.04% error, while the battery current and charging current sensors both show 1,64% and 3.06% errors, respectively. Meanwhile, the voltage on the solar panel shows a 0,66% error, and the battery voltage shows a 0,65% error. The obtained percentage of error data demonstrates that the sensors have good accuracy values when compared to the
sensor tolerance with an average of ±5%.
