Abstract
In the era of competitive business, fast and data-driven decision-making is essential. Managing and evaluating increasingly large and complex data is a major challenge for companies to optimize the decision-making process. This thesis discusses the challenges of Event Contractor companies, especially in the Sales and Marketing division, related to managing complex data. The use of spreadsheets risks causing input errors, inaccurate sales information, decreased profits and the risk of losing business opportunities due to the slow pace of recognizing opportunities. As a result, the company risks losing business opportunities, market share and damaging reputation due to the inability to adapt to trends and consumer needs. The technology to mitigate this is an interactive business intelligence dashboard visualization that displays statistical data through graphs to meet the strategic needs of the organization. The dashboard helps uncover insights from existing data, accelerate management evaluation, and support more informed decision-making. The research utilized a system design and development methodology to evaluate user requirements as well as data integration from diverse sources with a focus on key metrics such as project costs, project gains and losses, with easy-to-understand visuals. The results showed significant improvements in the decision- making process, data accuracy, and management's ability to identify and address issues. Dashboard evaluation time was reduced from 14 working days to less than 7 working days. Project profitability was maintained due to better cost management and implementation of the Business Intelligence Dashboard methodology.
