Abstract
The injection molding machine frame is a very important component to support the machine components that weigh on the frame. So it is necessary to analyze in order to obtain the stress and strain values that exist in it. By doing a good and precise analysis can support safety and provide a sense of comfort when operating the machine. In analyzing the framework of this injection molding machine using an analysis method using ansys workbench software. With ansys worbench software, it can be seen the values of stress and strain that exist in the machine. In the frame of this injection machine using hollo steel material with material specifications of ASTM A500 type and MS type plate, with frame dimensions of 100 cm x 550 cm x 380 cm, with a total load imposed on the frame of 365,591 N. The analysis technique used is by using Static analysis on 3 structural models which then obtained a comparison of the stress and strain values that occur in the structure. The result of this research is that each frame model analyzed is able to accept the load imposed on the frame.
